You can try but I think that privacy provisions of VAWA might get in the way.

Hey sweety...how about you ask the questions here..if anything the emma business will be generic as hell. Like hitting a brick wall. So much to learn here as you know.😊👍

I see majority here applied I-360 along with I-485 and I765 in the same time.

I am only who applied for I-360 solely. And last week I-360 is approved hopefully.

Did I made mistake I didn't apply in the same time? Would this make shorter time to get GC or no?

So now I have to wait approval letter first and then to apply for I485,right?

Or I can even today to apply?

It's always been ideal to petition together..but these days the approvals we've seen are mostly from folks who petitioned for GC after VAWA approval. Well..go ahead and apply..there's nothing stopping you.👍

I filed I-360 alone but that's because I'm in administratively closed removal proceedings and I have DACA. Made more sense to me to wait on I-360 before I start poking the court with a stick.

I don't think it would make the wait shorter since nothing can be done with I-485 until a decision on I-360 is reached, but a pending I-485 gives you access to an EAD (and Advance Parole) the quickest.

You can file now assuming that you are not in removal proceedings. Send the I-485/I-765/I-131 to VSC's VAWA unit and attach a copy of your I-360 receipt notice.

My I-360 has been approved since Jan 4th 2019, N.Y filer. Still waiting on an interview. My lawyer keep pushing me around. For some unknown reason, he declined to do an inquiry with USCIS to find out why my interview is taking so long.On the other hand, when I asked about other clients wait time, he told me 10 months. Yesterday around 9am, I emailed the senator office, Attached only the privacy release form, NO I-485 Receipt but I filled in the required information. Today around 12:30 pm! I got an email thanking me for reaching out to them regarding my immigration matter And That they have contacted USCIS , a few hours later like 3:10pm, got another email saying that USCIS has responded saying, “

Dear  XXX

Thank you for contacting my office regarding your matter. I have contacted US Citizenship & Immigration Services on your behalf. According to the agency:

"Please be advised that USCIS records indicate that Ms Xxx,
I-485 case  is currently awaiting to be scheduled for an interview with an Immigration Service Officer at the Xxxx Field Office. Due to the uncertainty of the current COVID-19 situation we are unable to provide a precise interview date and time. Once a date becomes available, the applicant will be notified accordingly."

I hope this information will be of help to you. If you have not received correspondence from the agency within 45 days, please do not hesitate to contact my office again at.                                      Did anyone Ever got a reply that fast From the Senator office or this is just a generated message we are getting?                                                                                                                                     Maybe I will hear something within 45 days since the last line states if I don’t hear anything from the agency, I should contact the office again?                                                                               @Stillwinning!!!😊, I know you always encourage us to have patient but I am at the end of my rope. My darling..you took the words right out my mouth..lol.😊 I totally understand how you feel dear..we have same time line kind of..same month and year for i360 petition.(April 2017) You were approved in Jan 2019, I in March 2019. N.Y. too..wow! God must have done something miraculous for me..as I was able to get my GC right before the pandemic struck!🙏 I believe, depending on the COVID situation of individual states, they use discretion to schedule or not to. The 45 days may not be feasible as it's your representative assuring you they would enquire again if you've not heard anything by then...I sincerely hope you do..please be patie..no let me use another word... Please endure!🙏 your day is coming quickly!😘💖
