Can someone help me with a good psychologist/ therapist who can do my Evalution and give some comprehensive report about my abuse.  Am currently attending one but I dont think they will give me what I want because they dont know much about Vawa case.  I seriously need a good one. TIA.

Hi Sandra - I hope all is well. I have an RFE that was due July 10 but things got delayed with COVID and suddenly the lawyer quit the firm and it's been like pulling teeth trying to get a status on my RFE , when a new lawyer to look at it and mail it out (sigh). 

 

I have the psychological Evaluations and affidavit ready on end. Can I just hire a new lawyer or send the RFE response my self? What should I do? I am running out of time and I am in panic mode. What are my options?

You can answer or you can hire an attorney to answer, but in your case I advise to hire an attorney to answer the RFE.

If your spouse is a U.S Citizen you can apply for naturalization after 3 years, if he/she is a green card holder you have to wait 5 years.Yes the GC is valid for 10 years.

I raised congressional inquiry  almost 10 days ago with  the senator but no response from the USCIS so far.My case is past normal processing time. Please help me by guiding what to do next. Tanks

did you provide everything to your senator? and when did you do? if you provide your senator 10 days ago then i would say give them 1 more week.

Will there be a problem if one is not yet divorced by the time of adjustment of status?

 

I dont know where to start with regards to divorce process but i want to make sure it wont affect my interview in case.

Well it wasn't for me..wasn't asked anything about that at all..but some people say they were asked...you simply give a logical reason as to why...or simply yes or no..for some..it's fear, others financial constraints..etc💁 Goodluck in advance!😊👍

Whether you are still married or not is not really an issue? My plan is to definitely finish my journey first and then file a divorce afterwards.will that be alright?

No it's not an issue..but with a VAWA case, the officers expect the petitioners to be divorced...naturally anticipated! Yeah you can handle that when you're done!👍

So its better to be divorced rather than not before attending the aos interview?

 Expected is different from better! They expect that naturally you would be divorced from your abuser...someone who caused you pains and terror.. Not that it's required! If you are still married for other reasons like the few I mentioned, then it's understandable! I went to my interview still married..I'm approved! So yeah you can handle it when you're done!👍
