Personally I haven't heard of any scheduled interview for quite some time now..apparently USCIS is afraid of the RONA as they should be..crazy times!💁

Lord that’s crazy. I’ve been keeping up and I don’t see anyone posting anything this year about an interview. This is sad and frustrating. My attorney told me that the local office is conducting interviews via a monitor or just issuing GC. She requested to have another client’s interview waived since previous cancellation and if that works she’ll request the same for me. She’s yet to see any GC approval from pending 485 as well. I pray for some good news for all this year.

Hi to everyone🌸

Guys. This is a funny story but week ago I didn’t have any EAD but  today I have a card and got NOA for my sons and my EAD Renewal🤦🏻‍♀️
I sent it to USCIS 10 weeks ago.

when my previous EAD get expired I was advised by an immigration lawyer to sent a  new one but attached all information from my old EAD
I did so. And they haven’t send me anything in response.

But today I got 2 NOA’s

Should I cancel this new one? What is your thoughts?

And. My EAD card came from NBC from I can understand looking in the address (and they sent it to the wrong address, I guess they didn’t update it)

But this two EAD came from Vermont Center and they have correct address

So does I  tv mean that NBC and USCIS don’t communicate?

Well. This is a story I wanted to tell you in case someone will have the same issue🙌🏻🌸

Dont worry about NbC or Vermont. You have your EAD.. that’s important

So you were waiting for your renewal for a long time and sent in a second renewal request right? If so you dont need to do anything about the second renewal request since the card was already renewed. Eventually the system will get to it and close it out since it was already done. But I noticed in one of your posts you said something about an email confirmation of address change?? For VAWA petitioners any address change must be done on paper to Vermont. You may have been able to do it online or on the phone or email but it wont be ultimately accepted and changed unless its on paper, signed by you, and sent to Vermont. People have been having issues even doing it on paper, so once you do send it (with tracking) follow up with your congressperson to verify it was changed. You must have the correct address on file, you dont want to miss any mail from them especially after getting this far in the process!

My first change of address was before I filed a VAWA. I was in a shelter in that time.
The address was a PO Box of shelter. (Exactly on this address USCIS sent my EAD card on Friday)

Second time I change my address when I moved from the shelter to my apartment. VAWA been already filed.

This 2 NOAs came to the right address.

But one thing I’ve noticed it’s that all letters from Vermont  are coming to the right address.

But my EAD card came from:

7 Product way

Lees Summit, MO 64002

So I guess I was mistaken about NBC
I thought it came from there because my EAD stuck on the background check there.

Anyways.
Im so happy I have my EAD and after 2 months of unemployment I can work.
YAY!

I was hoping someone could offer some insight on this.  I have a current I-130/I-485 AoS submitted (non-VAWA) and right now there is an RFE for my partner's taxes.  If I go the route of VAWA and keep the current I-130/I-485 instead of starting over, do the taxes still need to be submitted?

When a RFE is sent, your case is on hold until the RFE is received.  If you decided to file for VAWA and request for the I-485 to be hold in abeyance and USCIS does hold it,  than no need to submit abuser taxes because the I-485 will be base now solely on your I-360 case.

This delay on receipt is getting normal sometimes 8 weeks for a receipt from VSC. Glad you got it.
