Has anyone scheduled an interview without getting the letter from the embassy in Kiev Ukraine? Status shows us as "Ready". Have our number.

Thanks in advance

I don't think you can schedule interviews at this time anywhere.

Word has it they are scheduling for July. Now this could be a rumor. But I'm willing to entertain it. But curious if anyone has done this before? I emailed the embassy about the letter and not heard anything.

Kiev has all instructions online.  If your case is ready, schedule

YMMV

Hello,

The rumor, so far, is based on a few spouse visa interviews being scheduled by direct phone call from the embassy.  Currently they are not allowing normal scheduling, but that may change soon as the country is emerging from covid-19 restrictions.

You should wait for the letter before scheduling the interview.  There is a procedure to follow in the letter.  It will actually be an email and not a physical letter.

Hi,

As others have said, they will send the beneficiary the email.  I was the US sponsor, my wife was the fiance, and she received the email on her i.ua account.

If you have not done so, you can fill our the DS-160 form online before getting the email.  The beneficiary should created an account on the website here:  https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ua/

Click "login" at the top and select "new user?" at the bottom on the next page.

After mostly completing the form, I suggest you wait for the email before finalizing it and paying the fee.  There might be some specific instructions on the email.
