Hi everyone!

I'm working on filling out AOS paperwork for my parents.  My question is in regards to form I-765, Work Authorization.

Part 2 has a section titled "Information About Your Last Arrival In the United States.  The section asks for:

- Passport Number of your most recently issued passport

-Travel Document Number

-Country of issuance

-Expiration Date for Passport or Travel Document

My parents had a B/2 Visa and did not use a passport when entering the country.  However, they applied for and received passports a few months later.

Should I not include the passport number in this section, since it is specifically in reference to their arrival into the united states?

Therefore, I should add the travel document number, and the expiration date for said document.

Is this correct? I think I'm overthinking this part a bit.
