But I'm worried that not having any photos will delay the process and result in an RFE. I know an RFE isn't the end of the world but we really don't want anything to get delayed. What do you guys think?

I don’t think they will ask for photos. The London interviewer will not want to see your photo book either.

Hey! I’m from the UK and my Husband is from New York (we both live in NY now). When we did K1 we only sent in a few scanned photos. The embassy wasn’t even bothered about them and didn’t ask for anymore. Good luck in the process!

My fiancé and I are applying for the K-1 Visa. He lives in the United Kingdom, I live in New York. We have been together for 2 years and 3 months, and have visited each other's countries a total of 7 times.

My fiancé and I recently sent in our I-129f form. We attached a small 5"x7" softcover photo book with about 20 photos as evidence of our ongoing relationship. Today I received the book back in the mail from uscis. I now feel dumb for sending it because I see that we are not supposed to send any kind of photo book. I saw a few YouTube videos where people sent similar sized photo books so I thought it was fine since it wasn't a big photo album. I read on the official website that they don't accept bulky photo albums but I thought a small, thin, softcover book would be okay.

Now I am worried that we will get an RFE. I know that photos are not required for this stage of the process, but they do help, and now there are no photos attached to our application. We sent in a lot of evidence. We sent boarding passes, flight itineraries, bus passes, passport stamps, receipts, etc that prove we have been together. We also have other secondary information like video chat logs and messages, and we have letters from our family and friends who support our relationship. But I'm worried that not having any photos will delay the process and result in an RFE. I would advice you to do a collage of few pics of you both together  with Ms word and write the occasionin each pics and date it if you can and just send to them.

That would never get matched up with the file.

You're lucky they even sent it back instead of binning it.  Photos are not required for the petition, except for the 2x2 passport style ones.  We sent no snapshots.  Passport stamps and boarding passes are primary evidence of the required meeting.

Why?  Totally unnecessary for the UK.
