Not the case for Chicago (my local office) which is clearly bolded. Last time I checked, we were just a city and not a state, lol. Must be a mistake on USCIS's part?

I though Norridge is somewhere in Chicago?  in that case not a USCIS mistake.

Ah, OK, that makes sense...the state I lived in previously only had one USCIS office for basically the entire state, wasn't aware that some cities have more than one office! Thanks for pointing that out.

The bold ones are headers (mostly states names, in case of Chicago, it should change to Illinois, to make it consistent) but anyhow, underneath each Header, there is a list of ASCs of that state (which still seems updating as now).  I am hoping if an ASC does not eventually appear there, it means it is open. At least, that's how the info about Field Offices listed.

I'm seeing most are opening on July 20th. A bit later than the July 13th day they original mentioned, but at least there is some news at all. We have to be happy with even minor progress at this point.

Exactly. And I am hoping the ones that are not eventually listed here are already working:) e.g., there is no one mentioned from northern california yet.

They literally just updated the list and it says Illinois now and not Chicago, so they're actively working on it. Let's see what else changes today!

2 days after my birthday July 20th Here we come. Thanks for the Post, that means we should start seeing some notices go out for Biometrics hopefully I get a notice as well.

I just checked my local ASC in Cleveland and it's also opening on 7/27. Atleast I got an update!

Yeah, but my ASC opens on 7/27 which is ... right before the furlough is going to start. We'll see how that affect me. 😬
