Timeline

It took about a month for me to receive an interview letter. My biometrics was on May 10 and I received the letter for an interview on June 13 (letter was dated June 5). Hang in there! Have you been following the May filer's thread?

AOS & EAD Timeline

2007-04-16: I-485 and I-765 sent to Chicago (My AOS/EAD checklist)

2007-04-17: Received at Chicago

2007-04-23: NOA1 date (both)

2007-05-10: Biometrics appointment (both - Biometrics review)

2007-06-05: AOS interview letter date

2007-06-13: AOS interview letter received in mail

2007-07-03: EAD card production ordered

2007-07-07: EAD card received! (yay!)

2007-08-23: AOS interview (Documents / Interview review)

2007-08-23: Green card production ordered!!!

2007-08-24: Welcome notice mailed!

2007-08-27: Green card production ordered again... ?

2007-08-28: Welcome notice received!

2007-09-01: Green card received!

Done with USCIS until May 23, 2009!

Note that those numbers in YuAndDan's post are not necessarily indicative of what you will experience. For example, Philly on that chart is one of the worst, around 400 days. I personally got my Green Card in 163 days after applying with Philly as my DO (I was interviewed there).

Yeah, my interview letter showed up almost 2 months after my NOA1 date, so the OP is not exactly reaching the point where they should be worried!

Dayna, I feel your pain because we live in Orlando. I know it's been about 43 days since our NOA and that the EAD is issued in about 90....so it hasn't been too long.

The thing is that I've been watching the other May filers and many people have touches and/or transfers and we haven't had a touch since the day after biometrics. My hubby's appt for biometrics came so fast and now nothing....

09/2006 - Apply for K1

03/2007 - K1 approved

04/2007 - Apply for AOS & EAD

07/2007 - EAD approved

01/2008 - Conditional Residency approved

11/2009 - Apply to remove conditions

02/2010 - Permanent Residency approved

11/2010 - Apply for Citizenship

03/2011 - Citizenship approved

07/2011 - Moved back to Brazil
