Hi everybody,

I'm applying for AoS (immediate relative) during the grace period of my J-1 Summer Work Travel visa and I need some help answering this questions.

1. Form I-765, Part 2, 25. asks me ''Your current Immigration Status or Category (for example, B-2 visitor, F-1 student, parolee, deferred action, or no status or category)''. Should I write J-1 exchange visitor, J-1 Grace Period or no status or category?

2. Form I-485, Part 1, 24. asks me "What is your current immigration status (if it has changed since your arrival)?". Should I write J-1 Grace Period, I-485 Pending or leave it blank? (my arrival status was J-1 exchange visitor)

Any advice would be super appreciated!

You should just write "J-1" in both cases. During the grace period, you remain in status.

"I-485 pending" is not a status. One can have a status with I-485 pending additionally, or one can have an I-485 pending with no status.
