If Time Travel Were Possible

Part of me would like to do the ultra future Time Machine thing and go forward about 30,000 years but I'm kind of afraid there would be nothing but a bunch of giant ####### roaches running the planet or there would be a big thick sheet of ICE covering the planet.

For sure though I'd like to go back to the 40s and meet my Father's mother. She's the one close relative I've never known anything about.

The future would be too scary for me - especially coming back to the present and either dreading it or being anxious because I know what will happen.

I'd rather go back in time to see what my ancestors' everyday lives were like - the way they talked and interracted with each other...did they really talk the way they did in movies from the 30's?

I like Jenn's idea of using the future to make yourself rich.

I wouldn't want to go back in time, knowing that changing anything would set off the butterfly effect and whatnot... it would be difficult to not go back and change key moments in family/world history though.

It's like saying that you'd want to walk with dinosaurs...the chances of not being eaten by some large meat eater are remote. I'd like to see what colour they were though. Pink with orange spots doesn't seem too realistic does it???
