K3 visa

Hello everybody,my US citizens wife filed I-130 for me November 1 2019 and I-129f(k3) December 16 2019,it is written on the the USCIS website that the processing time will take 5 to 7 months,we still haven’t hear anything from them, although my is currently in Nigeria since march 17 and she was unable to go back to the US due to the pandemic and she was unable to log in into her USCIS because of the verification code that she’ll receive from her regular phone,what can we do please

Have she tried calling USCIS or sending an email?

Making a phone call would be the simplest solution. I assume a k3 was filed to “speed up” the I-130. Please remember the 5-7 month waiting time you cite will be much longer due to the pandemic.

Forgive me if I’m wrong but I thought Nigeria was on the list of banned countries?

Yeah Nigeria is part of the ban continues, but I heard it doesn’t affect my petition based in the fact that we submitted before the commencement of the ban,does it affect?

Calling them would be the next steps. K-1 are still being processed through Nigeria but with a MUCH longer process timeline than others.

It is affected- you had to have the visa in hand to not be affected

If you didn't have the visa before the ban then the ban applies to you. Read the actual order on whitehouse.gov.  Do go off what you "heard".

 

Even though the consulate officier can recommend you for a waiver is not automatic. 

 

She needs to contact USCIS.   You might have been approved.

I’m overseas and am perfectly able to receive the USCIS code here. US SIM cards work in almost every country so that shouldn’t be the issue.

YEah we was able to log in the account today and this is what we saw
