I feel like I have stepped into some strangers house.

I did notice a few immigrate2us members here. So here it goes.

I starting my morning off like I have been for a very long time. I check all my emails, I check my internet store for new offers, and I leave the best and worst for last... the USCIS website. As I typed in my user name and passcode I prepared myself to see the same old date.... 3-30-07......... Today it sure was different. I rubbed my eyes cause i thought iwas seeing things. There it was a new date. So I click on the eac number and this is what I found........

Receipt Number: EAC0----------------

Application Type: I601, APPLICATION TO WAIVE EXCLUDABILITY

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On June 19, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I601 APPLICATION TO WAIVE EXCLUDABILITY. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Oh my goodness. My man has been approved. I jumpped out of my chair and yelled and cried and cried some more. I wanted go to the immigrate2us site to tell all my 601er friends but it is down. So here I am. To let peeps know.

Our nightmare has ended. I have a bit of grief because three of my family members past away before seeing this processed finished.

But, life does go on and I am the happiest, proudist, STRONG LATINA in the world at this moment.

To see my timeline here it is. IT will be updated soon.

Hey PINKPIG~

I am so very happy about my mans approval. It really sucks that the immigrate2us is still down. I have been a faithful member since the very beginning of my journey...... I searched for other forums a couple of days ago and find this one.

As I mentioned in my message on top, I faithfully checked the USCIS website everyday twice a day since vermont rec'ved my husbands I-601 packet.

On the 19th of June, just before I went to bed I check the USCIS website to see if there had been any changes. NOTHING. So I went to bed stress wondering how long this whole process is going to take. Woke up about my normal time 5 or 530 in the am.. cause I never can sleep........ and checked my normal emails and websites... I went on over to the USCIS website and logged in to find out...... OH YEAH BABY... my man has been approved. I jumpped out of my chair and screamed, cried and cried and cried. My children woke up cause I was sooo loud. I had so much energy that I couldn't sit still and I had to go outside to breath... I phoned my family and told them the great news.

Anyhow... That is my little story. My timeline tells a little bit more about our process time. I have always felt that the people I called to check on things, never really knew much. Most everytime....... there was not one operater who said the samething...

*****We had been waiting for our I-601 for just a little over a year.

I can just see that smile on your face.

I loved reading your story of how you found out.

I agree there never seems to be any answers to any of the questions, except wait and wait some more.

All that is over now and you can make plans for the day when he comes home, hopefully it won't be long now.

Take care.
