AP is a catch-all term for anything that happens between interview and visa issue/denial.  The AP that takes the longest is the additional extensive security checks that happen only after a decision has been made that they are otherwise willing to issue the visa.  These checks involve all male Pakistani applicants and many female.  They can take a year or more from the time they actually begin.  Even if they decide today, you are on THAT KIND of AP, they are unlikely to begin the actual (on the ground) checks until there are no more concerns about COVID 19.

Do not expect clarity.  Movement from refused to AP is a good sign.

Well i am not clear at all whats happening.  I dinr know what they are gonna do . In my opinion there are only 2 options which can happen .1 is actual ap and 2nd is might be visa is hetting ready and chances are low for this .

You will not be clear what's happening or how long it will take, until you are told they are ready to issue the visa or they are denying it.  You are in the AP black hole.
