Hi Everyone I have a question about what my wife should be carrying on her person when she leaves the house.

We are awaiting her interview for her green card and has received her EAD/AP Combo Card.

When she leaves the house what should she carry to avoid as many issues as possible?

She is not happy I make her carry everything when she goes out for a run or whatever.

Thanks Everyone!

Strictly speaking, she needs to carry the I-94 until she gets the green card.

A lot of people waiting for a green card would have their I-94 expire eventually, especially those who came on a K-1. I am not a lawyer, but I believe her EAD/AP card should be more than sufficient to carry around. I believe that would fall under an "alien registration receipt card" under INA 264(e). The EAD is acceptable documentation for a lot of things, including getting a drivers license and social security number.

You are right, this https://www.sumnerimmigration.com/immigration-blog/family-based-immigration/2017/03/ina-§-264e-documentation-of-immigration-status/ says that the EAD works too.
