Does anybody tried to computer fill out i-864 before printing out?

While I can fill out some fields, I seem to have problems with other.

Most annoying is the fact that in Part 5 item 8, which is total "household size" there is "1" already prefilled and I can gt rid of that.

What is going on? With me or with the form? I'd appreciate suggestions. Thanks

It works for me with Adobe Reader DC and FoxIt Reader on Windows.

Just to clarify...what should be in that box? It's automatically summed from the fields above it.

#1 is pre-filled using the data from the prior sections, and will always be at 1 or higher (and is always 1 in an IR/CR case like your profile indicates) once you fill Parts 1-4 on the form.

#2 is set to 1, as it is the only possible answer there.

#8 is a sum of #1 through #7.

I only tried macOS (I don't remember what it uses by default to open up that pdf) and while I could fill up some fields, others would be unaccessible.

as far as household numbers, the problem was that it was not summing up anything for me and "1" was being kept at #8 at all times (couldn't delete it either) while I need "2" to be there.

I will try using other app to open this form and report later on how that worked. Thanks for the suggestion!

if someone else is working on macOS (osX) let me know what have you used to fill it up?
