And I believe this is inaccurate.  Having lived in other countries, I have noted that racism in America barely exists.

The words "racist" &"racism", however, are waaaayyyyy over used, often attempted to silence people who arent racist at all.

If you REALLY want to see blatant racism, one needs to visit Africa.  Or England, the source of most of the slave trading that went on heretofore.

I will respectfully disagree with you.  I grew up in a very racist family.  The n word was thrown around constantly.  They said things about black people and Hispanic people that I would not dare repeat on this forum.  I was around their friends and heard the same thing.  Fortunately my mother was not racist and she raised me to understand that we are all equal.  If not for her I could be among the racists in our society.  My family is no longer living and I have more to Florida which is a more diverse state.  So I don't see it or hear it as much - but I do still see it and hear it.   I know this is not racism - because Muslim is not a race - but it is still an insight into how our society views people.  My husband is Muslim.  And I hear all kinds of ####### about him.  I am Muslim but I don't cover my hair so no one knows.  My husband is in fear of me being discriminated against at work or otherwise.

I am not saying that other countries are or are not more racist than the United States.  But it definitely exists here.

Anyone living in a multiracial family like mine knows very well how different the standards of racism are. I've encountered so much more racism from non-whites it's not even worth comparing, it's night and day. And there's little to no pressure to change it.

The left are also aware, but fairness and non-racism isn't the point, they aren't out to educate whites about racism, it's all about beating political opponents until they submit. The key is to ignore the vast improvements on racism from whites (and utilize hyperbole like citing "Nazis" in 2020, utilize identity to "tie" people to things by social proximity, skin color, etc. but by political opposition), ignore entirely the racism from others, employ tactics that make minorities that engage in behaviors the left like dependent upon them psychologically and physically. That comes from votes (Democrat) and bad choices in life. Notably it's why in these outrage invoking videos and stories they never suggest the black person involved not fight the cop, not behave in a way that is safer for themselves. It's far better for the black person to make a dumb choice to monetize outrage for.

Our family with blacks mirrors most others in that you have some that make good choices and try to teach others, only to be given the moronic line that they're acting "white", even though this behavior is common in every other first world culture regardless of race. This is one of the ways blacks are psychologically chained by other black and white leftists. They see a guy like Russell Wilson be successful by making good choices then bash him because he encourages blacks to do the same. There's very little difference between blacks and whites when looking at the choice factor, people who make bad choices in life tend to have a bad/shorter life. Difference is, blacks are encouraged to make self-destructive choices, and I slowly see them waking up to who's been encouraging this all along. It's why Democrats are starting to abandon blacks for illegals, and have no problem sowing chaos where blacks destroy their own neighborhoods and businesses.

I, too, have relatives who are racist, and I don't tolerate it when they start throwing around inappropriate words.  I shut them down quickly with a promise to take myself and my kids away if it doesn't stop. It always stopped.  Not because I am a person of power, but because those who are that narrow-minded somehow realize it, and without support for their actions, they tend to pipe down.

But your family and my family do NOT make America a racist country.  Far from it.  I know, because I have both black and white friends from other countries that laugh when they hear the fake accusation, and can tell tales of REAL racism from their home countries.

Living in a bi-racial family, I think I am a pretty good judge of what it looks and sounds like when it happens.  And I have seen it rarely in my life.  As I have said on here before, perhaps I am luckier than some, or perhaps I just choose to live in places where people tend to get along regardless of their skin color.

I appreciate hearing about your experiences.  I can only speak from my experience.  I see racism - you don't.  I hope I am wrong.
