If they named their band due to romanticism of slavery that would be a problem I doubt changing their name would fix. But I suspect it's likely just bending the knee to the mob. So be it.

And I believe this is inaccurate.  Having lived in other countries, I have noted that racism in America barely exists.

 

The words "racist" &"racism", however, are waaaayyyyy over used, often attempted to silence people who arent racist at all.  

 

If you REALLY want to see blatant racism, one needs to visit Africa.  Or England, the source of most of the slave trading that went on heretofore.

  Trademark law is an established thing. Just like when Wally (famous) Amos had to change his brand to the Noname cookie company. Wally didn't go on a rant about it, although that was 20 years ago, when there wasn't someone going on a rant about every minutia that occurred in the day to day world. Wally did well though. A good cookie is a good cookie. He goes by "the cookie Kahuna" nowadays. Lady A will be OK too. Both of them.
