Hey all, i'm coming up soon on the opening of my eligibility to apply and have a couple of quick questions whilst reviewing the form:

I can apply after three years per question 1.B but question 9 asks how many days outside of the US and how many trips in the last 5 years. Filing online, does this change the question to ask in the last 3 years? Else for people filing after 3, the answer will seem way higher than it is.

My I-751 is still pending (biometrics complete the latest update) - does filing whilst still pending hinder/ slow the I-751 down or is it common for both to be ongoing at the same time? I have become familiar with the combo interview, curious if it makes sense to wait or to apply immediately.

I think that's all i have for now, any guidance on the above two questions would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance, all!

Yes, the form does not change based on the 3 year rule, but you just have to report time out of the US over the past 3 years.  As to speeding up or slowing down the I751, YMMV.  This is really dependent on how busy your local office is, or how close your I751 is to being processed by the service center.  In my wife’s case, is sped it up maybe by a month or so.

Good Luck!

I only answered for the three year period of being a greencard holder.  Putting trips before that time doesn’t fit the purpose of the question.

For addresses and work/school history I answered for 5 years. For travel I only answered for the years I have actually lived here.
