I was hoping that US Embasy in Serbia will start to process K1 Visas since they are not part of Shengen.

I was too! There's no travel ban, so why aren't they making K visas a priority by now?

If you find out will you post it here as well. I most definitely will post if I find out. But, if they extend it by a few months would be nice.

This was all the information I could find. I hope it helps someone..

Hi, where did you find that information? Also is it valid for every person whose interview is cancelled during January to June 2020?

I found it on the travel state.gov. I'm looking at it again. It was in the latest news concerning medical. Look at the top of what I uploaded it show show you how to find it once you get there.

Apparently, the CDC, is the one that made the decision. I'm going to go back to the site to try to find it again. It is saying if you had your medical done between this time, you get a one month extension. So, if you the interview was canceled it may be included; however,  I'm not sure.

The U.S. Embassy in Thailand is reopening on October 1st.  Services for all nonimmigrant and most immigrant visa categories will resume.  Looks like they will be clearing out the backlog cases first.

This was just posted on the US Embassy website for Thailand:

Beginning October 1, 2020, U.S. Embassy Bangkok and U.S. Consulate General Chiang Mai will resume routine nonimmigrant visa services for all visa categories.  The number of visa interviews per day will be limited to ensure social distancing.

U.S. Embassy Bangkok has also resumed processing most immigrant visa categories and is currently addressing its backlog of cases, namely those applicants whose interview appointment was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Immigrant Visa unit will be in direct contact with applicants currently eligible to reschedule their interview appointment.

Wording was sneakily changed on Cambodia's visa portal (using visualping to track changes), they added a few more categories to the wording so may be beginning to ramp up to all categories soon:

As of July 15, 2020, the United States Embassy’s Consular Section in Phnom Penh hasresumed certain nonimmigrant services, including: B1/B2, F, M, certain J categories (alien physician, government visitor, international visitor professor, research scholar, short term research scholar, specialist, secondary school student and college/university student), C1/D, E, I, O, and P visas, and certain immigrant visas including IR1, IR2, CR1, and CR2. The MRV fee is valid and may be used to schedule an interview appointment in the country where it was purchased within one year of the date of payment. If you have an urgent matter and need to travel immediately, please follow the guidance provided at https://www.ustraveldocs.com/kh/kh-niv-expeditedappointment.asp to request an emergency appointment.

There has been a drastic drop in new immigration to the US as well in the numbers of naturalized citizens this year. New citizens vote at lower rates than the general public. However, we are seeing firsthand that our votes do make a significant impact on immigration policy. So when those here waiting for their interviews do become citizens, please register to vote.

Not yet. It’s crazy they are accepting non immigrant visas but us citizen families are not even remotely a priority.

Hey anyone from India, got the interview date for CR1 IR1 interview as they have started since almost 15 days!!???

Guys they started processing IR1/CR1 Category visas, people who had their interviews cancelled on March 17th have received notification from the embassy to self schedule their interviews any-day between 17th September to 30th September. So yes, its official now, they will be slowly progressing to new ones once the cancelled interviews are done 😀
