Pakistan embassy said to resume passport services & US citizen services only, no visa services... what the heck is this? aren't they already doing that? if not, whats more important?? I guess election are coming..

Indeed, if they just barely renew passport services, spouse and fiancé visa resumption is still some ways away.

Well I suppose it’s progress either way.

😕 My assumption is Pakistan will begin the routine visa by November.... (my own wild guess)

Elections, you do not want to alienate a sizable portion of your constituency with this anti-immigration stance. Look for the state department to make a lot of conflicting news releases as they try to appease all sides.

No, they're getting sued. They tried to sabotage the lawsuit.

Can anyone share their rescheduled IR1/CR1 experience? Did you have to redo the medical exam ? Did you have yo redo the biometrics ? Medical is valid for 6 months + 1 only.

My husband didn't make it in time before his medical expired. It expired last week or so. I'm sure he has to take another medical. It can't be expired when you come to the USA. His police certificate is still good for a while. I pray all goes well.

He is aware that he may have to do another medical. That means traveling off again, and it's to complicated in the area in which he lives. I was there and it took a lot to get it done the first time..

Thank you so much for sharing this. I really hope they can extend the medical for a few more months because so many people are on the same boat and it costs a dime and effort. In the US the medical are valid for 1 year. But for outside visas 6 months. Please do share what you learn about the medical  when you learn more. And all the very best. Family separation is another pandemic we all are dealing with and the toll it’s taking on the Us Citizens and their spouses is becoming unbearable  !!!

Can you share if they did the X-ray again ? Repeat X-ray in the 2nd round of medical.

If you find out will you post it here as well. I most definitely will post if I find out. But, if they extend it by a few months would be nice.

I was hoping that US Embasy in Serbia will start to process K1 Visas since they are not part of Shengen.
