 The backlog is mounting. So it is logical to expect them to open soon. The backlog is growing daily and won't magically disappear.

A growing backlog is sort of the point. They don't want immigrants. The uncertainty is a feature, not a bug.

Guys we all want the embassies to open ASAP but don't stress too much about it. Some of this is out of our control. But be optimistic too and keep hoping. It will happen when you least expect it. On a side note, my fiance contacted the US embassy in Nairobi the other day and asked when they would be opening. They replied "soon." So maybe that means soon 😉

I know how you feel. I'm contemplating a trip to Kenya in August 😂. It's tough being alone during this pandemic. It would be perfect scenario to be locked down with your significant other. But I'm locked done alone😬😬
