March Filers with NO APPROVAL yet.

I don't remember seeing more than 2 or 3 approvals in the past 2 weeks for people going for K3 and IR-1/CR-1 visas. Very depressing. I don't know what in the hell they are doing lately but it doesn't seem like they are making much progress.

I am a March 13, 2007 I-130 filer. Anyone else around that time? I am concerned with the USCIS delays as well as the shift from the other service centers to California will delay the March filers in particular. Any thoughts?

Congratulation!!! So it took 16 days after the last touch on your cases?? I went to Local USCIS office through info pass once again, and the officer told me she spoke to the VSC office and they said something can be expected at the end of this week, and it's already tuesday I found no touch on my case yet...and tomorrow is holiday then only 2 days left... so I guess that was something like sympathy!!!! :crying:

Same here. Ours was touched then nothing for a week until we got an email of approval (but it had actually been approved the week before!!) So there is still hope. Good luck.

hallo, can somebody give me the phone number from California Center. I really wanna call the right place. I tried 1 800 357 5283 and that lady told me, all the march filers have to run 3 more month....I think I had the wrong number

Call USCIS number again and press 4 for RFE line. After that you have to enter your case number and you will be directed automatically to speak with officer from CSC.

I just called to find out whats going on.... well I called twice.. and the answer was the same...The Lady does not even know , that the California Service center has a problem with the system ...I could not get any informations out from her... mayby I still called the wrong number. There is no direct number for the California Service Center. It was disconnected a while ago. The 1800 number is the only number to call. Trust me, I have searched everywhere for a direct number and it doesn't exist!! The problem with the 1800 number is that the call operators are usually contract workers who have no knowledge of visas...My only suggestion is to get an infopass appointment. HOwever if you were like me and are overseas, theres nothing you can do except sit tight............Also, everytime you call the 1800 number they record it on your file, so you should try to call as little as possible... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news......

I just tried the USCIS number from here in Mexico, and heard a message saying that number could not be reached from my location! Has this happened to anyone else?

hey Lilikoi,

call the 1800 number and dial 1,2,2,4,1 and when you put your number in convert the letters example:

WAC=922 then the rest of your reciept number. I did this today and the woman was very helpful and the nice woman let me know that I was approved (NOA 2) 13 days ago!!!!!!!! No update on the computer or e-mail. Anyways I hope that helps,

Its been 122 days for my I-130 and 112 for my 1-129. I seriously don't wish this horrible process on anyone........... I have gone through all the emotions from frustration, anger, jelousy, sadness, hopeful.....that i have reached a point where i don't even know how to feel.

We're all in this together. 3 months is not the longest I've seen. Also, we had the good fortune to apply at a time when they seem to have been overwhelmed - don't forget that a lot of workers are on vacation too.

I'm sort of starting to freak out. I expected we would have either an NOA2 or RFE by this time.
