Just realized that I have almost the oldest I 130 (dated march 06),without any touches.

Should I be worried or it is just some panic-attack before the finish?

I haven't had any touches either for a long time ( it's probably a good thing ). And even though your ahead of me a bit on the I-130 we're only a couple of days off on the I-129f. So I say we get approvals on the same day and we can move on to the next step together :) :) !!!

I have children, but they're citizens. Do you think they could be treating me as if I applied for a K-4 as well? Is there an additional form, or do you merely list them on the form. I was confused there, as it said to list my wife's children. But they're US citizens. They don't need visas.

zolanden, you should email your senator. it really helps.. also call the uscis cali center and see wat is going on..

What can the Senator do besides check that it's going fine? My congressman's office has not sped up anything. Should I be asking them to do somethign specific?

Do your children have US passports ? Shouldn't they be free to enter their own country ? Real dad or step dad I would think they would be free to come into the country to join you right now if it was the wish of you and your wife. You may want to post this question as its own thread and see what kind of advice you get from other members.

From talking to other people(haha i communicate outside of visajourney too) I have found out that senators and congressmen are only helpful when the cases get stuck at NVC. However, there is no loss in trying all the avenues.... so i say if you don't get your approval by early next week..contact the senator. by the way which state are you in? cause if you are in california I heard the office of Boxer is better than diane feinstein.

i am restless, tense, frustrated again.

It's kinda like jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire. The whole dam process stinks, beginning to end. It sure has made my decision easy on which country I'm going to retire to in a few years. Sorry you're going through the next painful process Neel.

I filed through the CSC and am waiting for the information to arrive so that I can get this evidence together and send it out as soon as possible.
