I think I was exactly where you're at right now during the first half of August. Then I read the long message from RobinatAileen (I think it was about a week ago in this thread). Since then, I've mellowed out, knowing that my approval is coming soon. We've waited patiently for almost 6 months since our NOA1, what's another week or two It's like taking a really long road-trip vacation.

My family used to drive from Kansas City to Florida every summer. All of us kids would be patient and easy-going until we got around the Southern Alabama/Florida border (hour 16 of an 18-hour trip). Then we would start driving our parents nuts from being so anxious to see the beach and our friends from Tennessee, Arkansas, and Louisiana who all went there the same week every summer. Once we got there, we were the happiest kids in the world.

Sorry about the long-winded story, but I guess my point is that we've waited so long and we're getting toward the end...soon we'll start getting all the approvals and interviews, etc. and we'll be with our spouses before we know it...and we'll be the happiest people in the world! We're in hour 16 of our 18-hour drive!

Thanks for your story.It was so cute:).

I read the long post from Robin at Aileen too.And I liked it too.The worst thing in this process for me,that I feel it is endless.Cannot see the light.But,it is time to stop complaining for me because this thread is alive again,after so so so many uneventful and sad weeks.Approvals keep coming,I will get mine too,but the question still killing me: WHEEEEEEEN?

Also based on my non connected sources....USCIS seem to be done with accepting GC applications as of last week, and H1B are also done for this year. This kinda goes with the start approvals as of last week, may be USCIS might be done with everything else and start approving us. Aight I am crossin everythin and hopin and prayin from now on.

Can you explain what a GC applications is? I get confused with the initials.

should be "Green Card" (Green Card Lottery, perhaps) and also the H2B Temporary Worker Visas..

We got touched again today on both the K-3 and I-130's

I will be bringing my daughters over with me on K-4's, who are 14 and 11.

hallo march filers. hang in there. your approval must come soon. i pray for all of you, dont give up in your hopes. i filed also in march, approved on july 11 but this nvc procedure is driving me nuts. i have my case number and the lawyer payed the first bill thats all in 6 weeks. hope to see you soon on the nvc page , so we can cheer up each other on the next step.....good luck...
