Quick history

We met on 1 January 2006 while she was traveling in Hawaii. She came back to Hawaii in April 2006 for 3 weeks. We then continued long distance until June 2006 when I went to Oz and proposed. We then traveled around parts of the US together, then I was deployed to Iraq in August 2006. I came to Oz in February 2007 for my R&R leave for 2 and a half weeks and we got married. I then returned back to Iraq.. I'm due to finish my deployment in July.... NOW I KNOW SHE WILL BE THERE :o)

Wrong, I have 3 account made up with three different email address... as I check all of these three...I wanted to get the news on any of them... and they are sending msgs to all of these three account...therefore you can subscribe through multiple email accounts and it doesn't matter... therefore just open account and through the EAC# on your portfolio...and you are done...

I just hope everything at the consulate goes smoothly too.

I am sure it will go way too smoothly than USCIS...I felt so happy as I was surprised to see they kept you waiting that long...usually for soldier they have special rules to allow them faster approval... I am now imagining you landed and the great runion between two hearts...boy...that will be a great scene to watch!!....Congratulation!!!

I don't know whether I can call it as a good news as I am still confused if I was told the truth: I called the VSC through RFE trick again and the VSC staff said some one pulled the file on 26th June 2007, My letter to the ombudsman were delivered on 25th June, and I also went to USCIS on 25th June..therefore I don't know who forced them to pull out the file....but the reason I am having hard time to believe that none of my cases shows an update date in the "Last Update" section other than the old one: 3/29/2007. So god knows...

I think you are in a boat ahead of us!!! (If you meant NOA2 as second notice!!!).... I didn't receive anything since the 1st notice!!!and that was like more than 90 days

Nope no news here...

Last week I called VSC using the RFE trick to check on my I-129.. the lady there was nice, had no good news, but was nice and told me that my case was being worked on and should hear something in the next 60 days...blah blah blah..(got a touch that day and the next).. I was so frustrated (its been over 90 days already) I didnt ask her to also check on my I-130 ...called on Wednesday this week to check on my I-130 and got a very rude lady that said they dont check on cases over the phone, and that if I had an RFE I would receive an email.. When I told her I had called the same number and same RFE system and that I had been given an update on the I-129..she basically said that couldnt be because they dont give the info over the phone and again told me that I would receive email updates... #######!!

Im sooo frustrated!, I check USCIS about 3 times a day (morning, noon, and night)... Ive tried telling myself that Im not gonna check it for a few days...and just put it out of my mind..but that doesnt seem to be working..LOL..and Ive already checked it twice today...LOL

Debating the idea of contacting my congressman, but not sure what he will be able to do.. Maybe I should contact the Vermont congressman and have him go to the office and see what the hell is going on there!!...LOL

Hi everyone,

Congrats to those that have recieved your NOA2's. I"m an early march filer for my CR1 and have not been approved yet. I called USCIS last week and I was told that there are experiencing delays and that most applications are taking a maximum of 6 months. I don't know how true that is. I'm also disappointed about the the cases that have been transferred from VSC to CSC and they have to start recounting. My case was transferred to CSC in the end of May. That really sucks big time. It is so not fair. Jsut venting a bit. Sorry and thanks!

Please update your timeline. You say that your 129F is still pending (both in your post and in the comments section of your timeline) yet you have an NOA2 date listed. The NOA2 is approval notice. That is why your timeline says that your 129F was approved in 22 days. The second notice I believe you are referring to is the one that says your I129F was transferred from NBC to CSC. This is not the NOA2.

Best of luck on your journey, and hope you get that NOA2 soon.
