Hi Everyone,

I called USCIS on Friday to see what was happening with my case. The woman was polite but repeated herself over and over again with the usual. She told me they're now processing January 2007 applications. We all know that's not exactly true.

It's hard to see how many people are approved and how many are still waiting. So I used the VJ timeline search and (based on people reporting, which may be a problem), I got the following stats:

Note: This is K-3 Visas only. I wonder if K-3s are more complex than K-1.

Total Applications: 59

Approved (got NOA2 for I-130 or I-129): 27

in the last 4 weeks: 11

in the last 2 weeks: 7

What do you think? Are we the last of the last, or are these stats correct?

Both my cases were touched today, on a Sunday!!! This is weird and is really freaking me out :wacko:

Does USICS work on weekends? Anybody have similar experiences??

That is encouraging. I have not seen activity on a Sunday before. :thumbs:

You are about time.Hang in there.

Ras, One of my friend is a federal employee, and some times he works on weekends to make up for vacation he took earlier or a vacation he is planning to take later. This could be the case, you might have USCIS employee working on a Sunday to get some hours in. Good luck and don't freak out, you will have your approval this week. And then I shall have mine..... :dance::dance::dance:

guys if i could take us all back in time..i would have all of us file for K-1.

a member here who is also going through the new delhi, india embassy got his interview... the whole process took 4 months..... don't get me wrong..i am happy for this individual and it has nothing to do with him..but this is quite unfair... i think individuals who do the K-3 get the worst treatment... we end up paying soo much for AOS(like k-1) and we wait almost as long as Cr applicants. seriously why did we even bother with K-3... we are NOT gonna savee much time. :angry:

I suspect it was just Friday's data being fed into the computer. I called on Friday, using the RFE trick. I gave them the number for my I-129f application. That applications shows a touch today (Sunday), so I think that's all it is. So the Sunday touches would be Friday touches and (sadly), my touch means not much.
