Neel, on the positive side of things, you are already married and there really isn't a way they can stop your SO from coming here if your a citizen. Just make sure you keep records of everything for evidence, if needed. Remember that this is a challenge given to us, and will make everything else in life so much easier in the future. Where all in this for the same cause, so keep on trucking forward day by day.

At some point of time, take a break from here, we all need it at times. I either rent a movie, go fishing, or even just a simple click on www.bored.com will do it for me temporary.

This is so frustrating. We've been waiting 113 days since our NOA1...the stats from visajourney say the average time between NOA1 and NOA2 for CSC is about 97 days. Anybody got any idea of what a more realistic timeline is?

I aree that waiting is frustrating. The average of Vj members who filled in a timeline is accurate. An average is just one way of measuring the days. The range of timelines is, for example, 30 days to 200 days. The number of days for each approval is added up and divided by the number of petitioners to get an average.

So anywhere from 30 to 200 days is your accurate timeline. The average of all timelines is 97 days.

ahhhhhhh. today I talked to the "immigration specialist" at the congressman's office and he totally ruined my day. He said the earliest my husband is likely to enter United States is Feb 2008.

I am not sure how correct he is......but even the thought that it might take so long hurts.

ahhhhhhh. today I talked to the "immigration specialist" at the congressman's office and he totally ruined my day. He said the earliest my husband is likely to enter United States is Feb 2008.

I am not sure how correct he is......but even the thought that it might take so long hurts.

That can't be right! I would think that you can just get out of USCIS with an approved I-129F, in a couple months you could have your visa. Did he explain why it must be so long?! I'm hoping that this is just another one of those cover the bases answers...if they tell you February then maybe you will go away for a while and if you get done much earlier you will be pleasantly surprised. I mean really....that's almost an entire year for a K3?!? And K3 is supposed to be faster than CR-1? These people are smoking drugs to make us wait like this.

I'm going down fighting! lol Seriously though, if I thought it would take that long in our case, I would quit my job and move to Ukraine to wait it out with her. I probably would have done this already back in February if I had known it would be even this long. I figured 3 months for our I-129F to be approved and then other 2-3 months to get a K3 visa. I had no idea they would put us on hold this long and steal this much time from our lives that we can never get back.
