"Maybe someone just put in a wrong date or something and threw the estimates off. As to the speed of USCIS, I can't help think that the main problem is that they are spending most of their time on other application types and giving family immigration a very low priority. You can see this if you look at all the business applications and the date of forms they are processing. It's all about the money.

"

I hope you are right about the wrong input.Seriously hope.

Giving a family immigration a low priority. And what about the K1?

I am happy about their approvals but i cannot help, as the time flies I am more and more envious.

So sad but true.

P.S.: The guesstimated timeline (now I know) not a big deal. But if it changes so brutally, it can ruin my day.

Makes you wonder if it would be quicker to divorce, file K1, then get remarried once in the USA, doesn't it?!?!

Probably the best way to go with the illogical way USCIS handles things.

Can everyone Sound off who's not yet approved? How many of us are there still?????

Still no approval on K3. Is there anyone else left who filed as far back as me and still has no approval?

I guess I am missing something, why do you need to wait for 129F approval when your 130 is approved? You should move forward with 130. 129F through K3 only helps to bring your spouse to the US sooner if the 130 has not been approved. You show an NOA2 for 130....so I am assuming that is approval (or did you mean something else?) I am just wondering if there is something I have misunderstood about this process.

The USCIS part of the process is just the first step, I believe the big difference is the time it takes for the visa's to work their way through the National Visa Centre (where the I130 is generally processed much slower, as more checks need to be made) and through the consolute (where interviews for the I130 generally take longer to schedule than the K3).

Even with my NOA2 in March for the I-130, it will still take more than a year at this point to get an interview for Mexico. If I get a K3 interview first, I'm going for it.

Any approvals???

(Just kiddin')

Is it just me or what??? I dont seem to read many NOA2 emails/mails received of late from the fellow VJers...

I mean I know USCIS has been slowing down in processing our apps but this current feeling is like they just came to screeching halt...unless people getting their NOA2s are pretty much all Non-VJers... I m not quite there yet for my NOA2 but I can imagine the endless pain and grief of the early March/April filers.. This process is so unbearable.. Anyhow, just wanted to say Good Luck VJers... Hang in there.. We will get our NOA2 soon.. hopefully

Pkewl

Am I seeing things or is just about all I-130's being sent in are eventually being transferred to the CSC ? If you're instructed to send the packet to Vermont and you live on the east coast why would they transfer it to a service center on the other coast and to a place that is completely overloaded with work already ?

I know.. not to be bad, but if VSC can approve so fast, why don't they take some of the workload for those kind of applications? They should make a similar processing time for all these immigration visas.. but then they are probably being doing the temporary workers visas... they will increase over time and will cause the immigrant visa to slow down even more.. it doesn't matter if they increase and hire more people.. The time ratio will increase..

Weren't they being sent to CSC to "speed things up"? That is what it said in my email I believe. I think they just started sending them all to CSC instead of a select number of them and now they are overloaded and don't know what to do.
