I am also waiting for approval, nothing so far for either I130 or I129, hoping to see something soon, I really am hoping to be able to get my wife to US atleast by end of september. I am seeing people near my timeline and some beyond my timeline get approved. Help me God, Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :help:

Just got our I129F approval today!!! wooooooooohoooooooooooh!

Yippeee!!!!! Any whiles you are together to celebrate it too! Isn't that ideal!!!!

I am sooo happy for you both and even if you dont go the K3 route it is still good news knowing that something is happening!!!

Still nothing from my side - it would be great to get some good news while I am visiting my hubby though. I leave tomorrow evening!!!

Imagine not getting any touches and updates from CRIS and then bam!!! Approval! We already thought of going for I130 but now that the k3 has been approved we are going for that route instead BUt we're thinking of doing the I130 and i will just go back to my home country for the interview. Atleast while waiting for it, we are together!

What do you think guys? any suggestions?

I understand your logic behind continuing with I130 (finance etc) but do you really want to risk going back to your country again for an another interview. I heard of people getting AR for what ever reason, why risk an another separation even if its a minute chance. Personally I would get my wife here on I129(K3) and after that even if it costs 5000 adjust the status here and get her green card as soon as possible. No way, will I be risking another separation even if its 1% chance.

My timeline for I-130 moved from May....to December!!!! We filed on March 2....what the hell is going on?! The USCIS is so erratic these days even VJ can't provide a good estimate.

Ridiculous.

Maybe someone just put in a wrong date or something and threw the estimates off. As to the speed of USCIS, I can't help think that the main problem is that they are spending most of their time on other application types and giving family immigration a very low priority. You can see this if you look at all the business applications and the date of forms they are processing. It's all about the money.

so why don't they just charge us 5-10x as much as they do now? I am willing to pay $3,000 or more to have my application approved within a month.. :angry: I'll pay more than those Temporary Worker Visas for sure..

Filing fee for H2B Visa : $340 (Premium $1340)

That would be 10 Temporary Worker Visas to them.. maybe they can do the math and see that it's faster to process mine at $3,000... or maybe they aren't good at counting too? :blink:

Likewise, I would probably have paid $10,000 or more to be done in a month. That could have helped out a lot of people besides just me. They should at least offer some options. It stinks that we are all forced to wait so long and we could help them hire more workers.
