After 31 years and more than 1,000 episodes, Paramount Network has axed reality TV show Cops.

The decision comes in the wake of worldwide protests following the death of George Floyd, who died after a police officer knelt on his neck in Minnesota last month.

A network spokesperson announced in a statement: "Cops is not on the Paramount Network and we don't have any current or future plans for it to return."

This is like the emperors new clothes. Everyone is scared to point out just how brain damaged all this is. God forbid you get labeled a Racist, your life is over

Indeed. If we were worried about people enclosing themselves in their social bubbles before, guaranteed, this woke thoughtgestapo makes it far worse.

But the point is instability, isn't it? Take away the very things that make people feel comfortable and safe, especially when they might start going after the right people.

At any rate, the show COPS I thought was pretty much dead (I hadn't watched it since the 90s or early 2000s), but thanks to this, it'll temporarily skyrocket.
