Hello, I am currently living in the USA with my daughter, who has a tourist visa as well. I’m in the process of adjusting my migratory status and my daughter’s. We came to the US approximately 6 months ago, but I have been married for one month. My daughter and I were granted the maximum period of staying under a tourist visa. But, I just married a US citizen, and we want to start the process of change status. Now, I am confused about the forms that we have to file, because my daughter is from my first marriage in my foreign country ( I have all my divorce documents), but, I want to do her process together with mine. First, what forms do I have to file? second, do I have to file a separately I-485 for my daughter? Third, what if my husband doesn’t make enough money to support both of us? Can we use a co sponsor for just my daughter, and my husband be mine?( he make enough money to sponsor only one person). Fourth, do I have to file separately form a for my daughter and me, or can I file some forms including her? 
Finally, my daughter and I are from Colombia, and we came with a tourist visa.

File the I-130/I-130a packages and the the AOS packages, with all the extras, together, use the guides here for a concurrent filing, with an I-944 for you.   The same minus the I-130A for the child.  

 

Sponsorship should be the same for both petitions.

June 13, 2018 Mary receives Mexican Residency Card

June 15, 2018  I-130 DCF Appointment in Juarez  -  June 18, 2018  Approval E-Mail

August 2, 2018 Case Complete At Consulate

September 25, 2018 Interview in CDJ and Approved!

October 7, 2018 In the USA

October 27, 2018 Green Card received 

October 29, 2018 Applied for Social Security Card - November 5, 2018 Social Security Card received

November 6th, 2018 State ID Card Received, Applied for Global Entry - Feb 8,2019 Approved.

July 14, 2020 Removal of Conditions submitted by mail  July 12, 2021 Biometrics Completed

August 6, 2021 N-400 submitted by mail

September 7, 2021 I-751 Interview, Sept 8 Approved and Card Being Produced

October 21, 2021 N-400 Biometrics Completed  

November 30,2021  Interview, Approval and Oath

December 10, 2021 US Passport Issued

August 12, 2022 PHL Dual Nationality Re-established & Passport Approved 

April 6,2023 Legally Separated - Oh well

I would imagine the father of the child gave approval for her to immigrate to the USA as well and you have this in writing.

You must have the same sponsors- you are immigrating together. Your husband will be the sponsor and you will find someone to be the joint sponsor.
