Joint sponsor lost job due to COVID-19

Hi guys, 

I am currently adjusting status from F-1, married to LPR. We initially filed with a joint sponsor because my husband did not meet the income requirements of I-130 at that time. Now our sponsor has been layed off due to COVID-19. He now gets unemployment money and will get his old job back when the lockdown is over. My question is: do they request an actual proof of income from the sponsor at the interview or is everything we sent with the initial application enough? Thanks in advance!
