Hey guys! We are almost ready to submit our package but I’m having two issues.

1. My husband was never sent an Approval Notice and USCIS, NVC and my embassy are all claiming to be unable to help me.

has anyone filed their i485 without the approval notice? Was it successful?

Does anyone know how I can get a copy of the Notice of Approval?

(my i94 expired May 18, and I’ve been trying looooooong before that to get this resolved)

2. How did you organize the package for mailing? And to my understanding I don’t have to pay the EAD fee along with the i485 fee?

3. Bonus question!! how am I supposed to prove I have no credit history without any American credit history for form i944?

once I have these three this resolved I’ll be able to mail my package.

He tossed it because someone from uscis told him he didn’t need it, this was while we were trying to get the approval notice before I moved down. I was so mad when he told me

Worst place for advice on immigration is the uscis itself

has anyone filed their i485 without the approval notice? Was it successful? I have heard from others that it can be filed without. BUT, if you want a copy then make a info appointment with a local USCIS office and the can print one off for you.

Does anyone know how I can get a copy of the Notice of Approval? I do! And I did!

(my i94 expired May 18, and I’ve been trying looooooong before that to get this resolved)

2. How did you organize the package for mailing? Use the guides. Use the tab on the blue ribbon above.

And to my understanding I don’t have to pay the EAD fee along with the i485 fee? Yes, that correct. As long as they are filed together.

3. Bonus question!! how am I supposed to prove I have no credit history without any American credit history for form i944? Indicate somewhere that you have not established credit. I am not familiar with the form but maybe there is a space at the end of the document for "other".

once I have these three this resolved I’ll be able to mail my package.

Good luck and stay engaged.
