My fiancé received the letter notice to say our I-129F petition was approved & that NVC was now forwarding the petition to the U.S Embassy in Montreal, Canada.

It was approved on March 17th, however with everything going on due to COVID-19 I'm not sure what my next steps are.

I hadn't received any further information nor a visa interview date at that point.

What should my next steps be? Is it just a matter of waiting for notice of interview date & further details on how to schedule my medical exam etc?

Here is what I have on the preparation for your interview at the US Embassy Canada:

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.

Join us in the JUNE 2020 K-1 NOA2 to NVC to EMBASSY thread and download the PDF file on the first post of the first page for tips, tricks and hacks to follow your case to the embassy. I'll post both links below:

Congrats.
How did you check your Noa1 and Noa2. Does it show the status on https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do ?

Isn’t first notification in few days of submission and that’s called NOA1, correct? The only status we see Is that on the site is “On March 3, 2020, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), Receipt Number WACxxxx, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by April 2, 2020, contact the USCIS Contact Center at www.uscis.gov/contactcenter.”

Should I be expecting an email or letter? I did not receive any receipt notice as stated above. Can you fill me in here, is there something I am missing!?

I did not receive any receipt notice as stated above. Can you fill me in here, is there something I am missing!? You're missing the NOA2. But because we are in a pandemic and most embassies as well as USCIS and NVC being short staff, many things are taking more time.

Hi there! Thank you for the information you provided!

I just checked our status and it shows that our visa application is "Ready" however I have not received my Packet 3 information in the mail.

Is this due to the pandemic? Should I call someone & ask for an update?

I am glad that I can offer you help in processing your visa. When I respond with links to the information, there is a good chance that I have provided what is needed for the next steps. So, open the first link and read the first paragraph and the answer will be there for your question about the P3. As you read the link, where I spell out everything for your visa process there in Canada.
