Just curious. What will be included in the 15 pages?  We are filing this week and want to include only the necessary items. Thanks!

And here is a decent sample of a cover letter:

Change the evidence based on what your have.

I'd skip the affidavits ;)

These times are certainly unusual. Slightly off-topic but we are currently seeing (over on the citizenship boards) cases being approved with interview or civics/English tests.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

Now you're someone who understood the message.

My wife would beg to differ. She tells me I'm ugly. Seems USCIS thinks otherwise.  Or the biometrics lady must have done a good job. I should buy her one for the road.

And I know adjudication is different.  Just baffled me that 2 tax returns actually worked and no RFE was issued. Hahah. I believe there's never been such a case here on VJ, none that I've come across in my 4/5 years as a member.

Haha, pole mheshimiwa. I am a Kenyan as well. We are a same sex couple. I got rejected twice to come and visit my Fiance here on a B2. I was deadly scared I we would get rejected for the K1. However, all went well. No interview for the Green Card nor the I-751. The latter was approved within 6 months which was shocking. We were expecting 15 months. I was interviewed for Citizenship though.

We sent a file 4 inches thick with bank, credit cards, will, POA, Etc

This might actually explain what's going on..

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Yeah...my Citizenship application which we did online took 4 months from application to receiving an email letter for the Interview in NYC. Maybe because we submitted everything online, all IRS transcripts, etc etc..

RE: Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence for:

Dear USCIS Officer:

I am filing a joint Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, with my spouse, [name of conditional resident spouse] and step son, [name of conditional resident child]. My wife entered the United States on a K-1 visa, and we subsequently married. She adjusted status to permanent resident in August 2015. We have remained living together happily. We respectfully request that this petition be accepted for removal of conditions on residence for [name of conditional resident spouse] and [name of conditional resident child].

We have enclosed Form I-751, a check for $[USCIS fee amount], and copies of the permanent resident cards for each conditional resident. Please also find the following documents enclosed to verify the status of our marriage and ongoing relationship:

Copy of our marriage certificate

Copy of our apartment rental agreement with joint occupancy

Copy of the birth certificate of our child born out of this marriage

Copies of the tax statements for the previous two years (2015-2016)

Copies of statements from our joint checking and savings accounts for October 2015 to present.

Letter from XYZ Life Insurance showing that my life insurance designated beneficiary is my wife and children

Copy of the title of our car, showing joint ownership

Copy of our credit card statement showing a joint account

Three sworn affidavits by U.S. citizen friends, attesting to our relationship and marriage

Photographs from a family vacation to the Grand Canyon in June 2015, my parent’s anniversary in January 2016, my wife’s birthday in May 2016, and a vacation to Las Vegas in November 2016

I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and respectfully request your favorable adjudication of this petition.

Sincerely,

LPR

My N400 opens in 9 days. However,  to avoid all drama with online submission,  I'll wait and do it the first half of July
