I am just curious if anyone has been able to fly from Philippines to the US on a K1 Visa since May - June?  This could be any airport such as Clark/Cebu/Manila.  Many thanks!!

Does it need to be a direct flight?

No, just any flight out.  I wrote the Bureau of Immigration and they said with K1 Visa's it's up to the officials at the airport to decide.

Our flight goes from Icheon Korea to the US. I am just wondering if they have allowed K1 couples to fly yet.

Like others said - it is really up to BI at the airport.  If you have a visa you are allowed in to the US if not transiting or originating a banned country.

Exactly. That is what they told me. They said tourists visas are not allowed but said it is up to the officials at the airport to allow K1 travel.  K1 travel definitely is not leisure travel.  It's family reuniting. Thanks Paul for the posts! You always have great information!

Japan has banned like 100 plus countries

Philippines and US are on the list, I would think this would also keep planes from that country origination from landing there as well even if you need to change planes.
