I don't have my bank statements. My bank had paperless setup by default with bank statements disabled, so I can't get my past statements as PDFs online and they won't mail them to my US address, so I would have to wait to get them forwarded to me if I order them.

For proof of assets, will a printed copy of my bank account activity from online banking suffice, or should I get the official bank statements?

If you have paperless statements you can print them; how else do you know your transactions in your account? I imagine you are the immigrant if you say they won't mail them to the USA- do you have anyone in your home country or previous address that the bank can mail them to and then scan them to you?

My bank is pretty bad apparently. I've been with them for over 10 years and they weren't issuing me electronic bank statements at all during that time while I was "paperless". They did not start issuing me bank statements until just now when I opted in to receive them. Prior to now I was just going off of my account activity pages for statement-like information. I talked to customer service and they can't or won't post the PDF's for prior month statements online for me.

Yeah, I'm the one immigrating. I can have them forwarded or scanned up and e-mailed to me when they get mailed to my parents. It just means I'm going to be filing a bit late I guess 😔
