Hi! There is a new affidavit of support form I-134 and I am assisting my mom accomplish it for my brother (FB-2 category). I have a few questions regarding the said form and I hope you can help clarify the following:

1. Employment information options are employed and self-employed only... Are retirees not qualified to be a sponsor anymore?

2. Income and asset information includes annual income, balance of savings & checking accounts, value of personal property, stocks and bonds, life insurance, also real estate info... Should this be filled-out completely even if sponsor's annual income meets the minimum income requirements to sponsor?

3. Other information about the sponsor: If sponsor intends to make specific contributions to the suppport of the beneficiary, indicate the exact nature & duration of the contributions intended to make for example, if room and board, state how long & if money, statenamount in US dollars and whether it is to be given in a lump sum, weekly or monthly, and for how long...Can you give me an estimate for this and for how long?

Any input is much appreciated. Thank you.
