Might become reality given some of the plans by some city councils.  I heard the Minneapolis city council  has moved beyond defunding  to disbanding the police department in that city.

That will really wake some people up.  Right now, a LOT of people that shouldn't own guns are buying them. Might get interesting soon.

The is a firearms store about a half mile from the house, and I drove by it both Saturday and Sunday.  Both times, there was a line outside waiting to get in.  It will be an interesting discussion when the Left tries to combine their desire to disband police departments with their desire to add more gun control laws.

Yeah this is the new Leftist talking point is to "Defund the police" basically meaning to disband them. I have asked them repeatedly on what will you do then once the police are disbanded and after all the BS talking points on how "we can pay for more mental health and community services with the money we save from disbanding the police" we get to the nitty gritty details of it all. Basically they want a community watchdog type service to help police the community. 

 

But I am seeing this pop up ALOT on the local politics pages from people and groups with cool names and awesome hashtags. /s     But once you look at the so called "local advocacy groups" they are tied to state and federal Leftist sometimes Socialist groups.

I saw the same thing here in NC last week in Wake County (the capital county) but in a small town that is pretty split between Liberal/Conservative. But what I am seeing more is that people are starting to wake up and starting fighting back against the Leftists in social media. But the left are also trying to doxx more people and get them fired...

The entire cancel culture of the Left is truly abhorrent.  Doxing people is their go to tactic, and really shows their true colors with respect to freedom of speech and honest discussion.  What is interesting is that these radical fascist/anarchists aren’t real big fans of the established Dems either.  They may have supported Bernie’s radical positions, but unless the DNC and Biden shift radically to their position, it won’t help them either.

  1.  How much will your plans cost?

  2.  What are ALL the potential consequences?

  3.  What specific, provable data do you have to back your decision?

They will never answer these questions.  First of all, they don’t care about cost or consequences, and if anyone tries to bring any actual data to the party that may go against the narrative, they will be canceled immediately.  Seems to be right out of Lenin’s playbook.
