If someone's betrayed my trust, I don't know.  tbh I don't care anymore.  My husband hasn't and that's what matters. 

 

I assume the men sharing these private photos are the same ones that have a tendency to send unwanted photos to women as well.

From my brief time doing internet dating I can believe it! I'd be having a perfectly normal chat, maybe a little flirty then BOOM! A close up of what's downstairs with no warning. Ummmm, no thanks.

I'm lucky enough to have a spouse who thinks enough of me to send various photos from time to time when we are apart, and I love it.  But even if we split tomorrow, those pics would remain my personal property, I'd never use them to try to shame her.  That's just not right.  They were shared with an unwritten trust, and I'm not the guy to break that trust.

i've always found it best to just keep them.  then if they get remarried, you can use that old joke:
"got any naked pics of your wife?"

I know a guy that had some very proactive pictures of an ex on a thumb drive  he forgot and his 90 day fiancee found them about 15 days in. It was ugly for a few days. He had to buy a completely new bedroom set.

I think I posted a while ago somewhere that I found a bunch of love letters from Al's ex-girlfriend in a stack of papers we sent back from the UK last year. I found them -- he had no idea they were in there, and I read them all (I'm a glutton for punishment I guess!), including one that had some really rather rude sentiments about me. She is a good friend of mine now, and of course I knew she didn't like me back then, but it did hurt to see it written down, even though it was a very, very old letter. He got rid of them, thankfully.

 

Maybe I should have asked him for something in return for not making a big deal about it -- I might have finally gotten my engagement ring!   Has my moment passed? Could I still ask for something?
