Good morning,

Can someone please tell me if the question below is asking for.  Do I list myself and my son (who is 29) in this section on the I-130?  Please see pic below.  I am the US petitioner and my husband is the Ghanaian beneficiary.  So, I am thinking they are asking for my information in this section.  This should not be so confusing, LOL.

Thanks

Well, you are the beneficiary's spouse, and then list any of the beneficiary's children.  If your son is the natural son of your spouse, yes.  If stepson, no.  If your beneficiary has any children, list those children no matter where the live, what their age, or whether they are immigrating.

The question is very clear.  You are overthinking it.

Pushbrk...I must be 😏

Some confusion is common in this section, because people think they are filing a spouse petition.  You are filing a petition that can be used for any relative.  If you were filing for your father, then your mother might appear in that section as his spouse and YOU as his child.

That made it more clear.  So, let me clarify.   I will list myself as my husbands spouse.  But list his minor children, although they are not immigrating?  Correct?

All of his children of any age. PERIOD.  It's a simple question.  Interpret it literally.
