Lately NVC is taking longer to review documents.
some people get it within 24 hours while for others it takes 2 months.

i saw few approved documents in last two days for submissions on 20th February. So may be soon you can expect a response from them.

no point calling them about this. They dont know the answer.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing fine, I am writing today to let you know that NVC has reviewed my case as at 9th June 2020. Everything went fine but they required us to replace 2 documents. However, we went through the NVC messages and replaced rejected documents on 10th of June. Now I am on the wait again after resubmission.

Have you looked at the reasons why this request could be approved? Are you the sole caregiver of an elderly person, are there any childcare issues, is your military service causing stress to your immediate family, or is the well-being of a child being impacted? Does your case fit into any of these? If not, you'll have to sit back and wait like the other thousands of people.

Look at the middle of this page. What date does it show for "Current case review time"? https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html Compare it with your date.

I don't think there is an expedite for emotional hardship.  Otherwise, we all would have expedited our cases.  This process requires a great deal of knowledge, planning, time, patience, and money.  You just have to wait.

I submitted AOS on 2/19/20 and my mom’s documents were submitted on 2/21/20. I just got an email yesterday that it was approved and documents were accepted. You’re not that far behind me. Good luck. 🍀👍

That makes sense. The website I sent you shows "Current case review time: As of 8-JUN-2020, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 20-FEB-2020." So if you submitted on Feb 25, June 9 seems like an accurate date for them to review it.

Yes that make sense but not always. 2 of my aunts submitted their documents on 20th and 22nd February 2020, they got reviewed on the 30th April and 8th may. While the NVC time frame was saying they working on cases received on 10th February. Therefore, NVC time frame isn't accurate for everyone.

Hi there,

Visa category: F4

I have submitted all of my documents including affidavit of support, DS260 and civil documents to CEAC online on 25th February 2020. Its been more than 10 weeks of my first submission which is the Affidavit of support, but still there's NO SINGLE REVIEW from CEAC end so far. This is emotionally very frustrating and getting really stressful over the days. However, I've tried making an inquire through the NVC inquiry form but all I got in return is "THE DOCUMENTS YOU SUBMITTED ARE BEING REVIEWED" and this has happened twice.

In regards to the situation described, what actions can I take other than waiting or if I can apply for expedite under the basis of emotional hardship?

Any kinds of support and info will be appreciated. TIA

You don’t need to worry about it as long as you have submitted every required documents. Just wait keep patience you will receive your DQ very soon In Shaa Allah. Due to Covid-19 NVC taking longer time to process cases.
