Haven't gotten any email or txt message either. Just keeping my eye on the NOA1 on the mail since many people said they haven't gotten notifications even with the G-1145. I'm taking the charges as a good sign that our applications are received and deemed acceptable.

thanks for replying... i am also keeping an eye on for the hard copy (NOA1) ... and agree at least it accepted and moving forward...

We submitted our AOS package recently with two separate G-1450s. One with the I-130, one with the I-485. No problems.

Thanks Nancy! I read a few threads saying that because I-130 might take a different way once it arrives to USCIS... it would be a good idea to issue two G-1450. That is the reason of my question.

If someone paid with credit card recently... what did you do? Did you mentioned it in the cover letter?

We referenced the G-1450s in the cover letter/table of contents along with a short description of what each was for:

"Form G-1450 - Authorization for Credit Card Transactions - Payment in the Amount of $535 for Form I-130 Filing Fee"

"Form G-1450 - Authorization for Credit Card Transactions - Payment in the Amount of $1,225 for Form I-485 Filing and Biometric Services Fee".

Hi guys,

We are concurrently feeling I-130 and I-485 (with I-131, I-765, I-864, I-944) and we've decided to pay those with a credit card because our bank gives us good deals when paying large amounts of money, like this case. My question is, after reading some old threads in VJ, I concluded that it's better to include TWO G-1450 (form for credit card), one in the envelope for the I-130 and the other for I-485 (including the biometric fee) so, how should I indicate clearly that I'm including 2 two G-1450 to pay each form and state that one includes the biometric fees? When you write a check you can easily state that you are paying for I-485 + biometric fees for example, but I do not see space to write something like that in the G-1450. Any idea? I'm getting paranoid with all these small details.

Also please, just to be sure, if I am missing any form in my application let me know,

Thank for all your help.

Hello

2 forms G-1450 for Credit Card transactions. One for the I-130 ( $535 ) that you clip infront of the application- Mention the purpose of the money where it says "signature- " you can write a little memo after signing: FOR I-130 APPLICATION FEES"

The 2nd one for the I-485 ( $1225 ) that you clip infront of the respective application. You will follow the same step but when writing a memo, include ( form I-485 application fees + biometrics )

USCIS no longer accept somebody to pay on your behalf. So make sure both the account name holder is the same as applicant.

Can someone else confirm that only the applicant can pay the fees with his/her credit card?

We are both in the US and we live together. And I do not see anything in USCIS forms or website.

Call the USCIS Customer Service and ask them to make sure but for what I know so far they changed their way to cash fees.

I called the USCIS Costumer Service right now (took me like 10 minutes to reach a human being lol) and they confirmed to me that I can pay with my wife's credit card perfectly. Just in case someone read this and it's thinking to do the same as me.

Oh ok... thanks so much then. Couple months ago, 2 agents told me different thing on the phone. Seems like some of them aren't even sure of certain things.

Yes, that might happen but well, reading the form and form instructions... nothing about that is stated. On top of that I cannot understand why we only could use our own credit card and not our wife's cards.

Hopefully I do not have problems with this,

Thanks

You'll send the following four packets in the same envelope:

  • I-130 with I-130A and copy of marriage certificate, G-1450 (for I-130 fee), etc.;
  • I-485 with  I-864 and supporting documents, I-944 and supporting documents, electronic I-94 copy, G-1450 (for I-485+biometric fee), etc.;
  • I-765 with electronic I-94 copy, etc.; and
  • I-131 with electronic I-94 copy, etc.

You'll separate each packet with rubber bands or fasteners: https://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-information/form-filing-tips

On the G-1450 for I-130 packet put I-130 Petitioner's name in the first row. G-1450 must be the very first page of this packet.

On the G-1450 for I-485 packet put I-485 Applicant's name in the first row. G-1450 must be the very first page of this packet.

Hi so I’m gonna put my US citizen spouse name on G-1450 of I-130 form and my name on G-1450 of I-485 form?
