Hey guys -

We got receipts for I-485 and I-765 a little over a month ago (26 business days). I looked up the case status with the receipt numbers, all it says is that they received the forms/fees at the National Benefits Center and sent us paper receipts. No information on which service center they went to.

Is this normal? Or should we know by now which service center is processing our stuff?

Thanks!

The forms are adjudicated at NBC. EAD and AP are gonna be approved by them. After analyzing the 485 paperwork, and determining no RFIE is necessary, they put the file in the line of the local field office to get an interview date.

I see. Are the processing times for the field offices AFTER they receive the I-485? Or just the total time since USCIS received the I-485?

I'm not sure, but probably the whole thing. You can find more accurate timelines here on VJ.
