frozen or not... I plan on enjoying me a blueberry fritter and a double-double (or maybe an english toffee cappucino) this weekend for my final trip to Vancouver before Dave moves here!

Anyone know if there's a Timmys at Pearson? I've got a long layover there, I'll need nourishment ;-)

 All of the big-four airports have them, including past the PFI.

ewwwwwww pearsons airport! I would be seriously surprised if they do have a timmy's in every terminal.

bctoboston only asked it cra#-YYZ had a Timmy's, so I answered.

Of course, Pearson is also the ONE place where they could degrade Timmy's to 7-11 doughnuts.

I may have to wait to get my fix once I actually reach Vancouver then... don't want to degrade the Timmy's experience for myself.

I'm going to take it no one's a fan of YYZ? :-)

Personally, I've had to run too many times from Terminal 1 to 2 or vice-versa nearly missing my flight, arriving winded and nasty.

YVR - now there's an airport.

I'm going to take it no one's a fan of YYZ? :-)

Even the Globe And Mail Magazine (published in Pigtown!) has rated Pearson with ZERO ("crashing semi") stars every year for the past 17!

Personally, I've had to run too many times from Terminal 1 to 2 or vice-versa nearly missing my flight, arriving winded and nasty.

YVR - now there's an airport.

YVR gets three (out of possible four); you wanna know who gets four -- (naturally gloating) YYC!! :D

Got delayed in customs at YYZ due to the combo of:

  • being of India origin
  • having a trip onward to Caglary

Other way, weather delay (in addition to confusing layout past PFI).

Only once delayed at YYC customs ('course, I was carrying only my office bag--for a one-week trip home).

I did NOT like YYZ at all! That run from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2...waiting for the shuttle...I was so scared I'd miss my connecting flight and I was given wrong directions twice. Then I was told to read the boards, that I'd find my way....I had never been through YYZ before. Sigh....

I have to wait til Joel picks me up to have a Timmy's. Blueberry fritter, eh? That sounds yummy!

Ugh. YYZ. Last spring I was booking a flight to Boston to spend Easter with my husband (then boyfriend). I was psyched because I found a direct trip round-trip for cheap. So I go through, pick my flight times and proceed. Suddenly the price jumps by more then $100!! All the friggin' taxes and "airport fees" to pay for the upgrades (upgrades, my #######! It STILL sucks!) that Pearson had done. I grumbled, but decided to still finish booking. So next they ask me to choose seats. So I do. And then the price jumps AGAIN because they friggin' charged me to pick seats!! I have NEVER had that with the airports and airlines in the US...I've only flown in and out of Pearson one time since then, and that was only because I had no choice. Every other flight I've taken since has been in and out of Buffalo. Much cheaper, much easier to navigate and no stupid charges tacked on to tickets for "airport upgrades".

However, Pearson DOES have a Weber's Hamburger stand. Anyone from Ontario who has a cottage up north has probably been to the Weber's in (I think) Orillia. They have the BEST burgers. Or maybe their burgers are just good, but I think they're the best because I associate them with heading to Muskoka Ontario for a lovely weekend of cottage relaxin'. :)

Blueberry fritters are the best  ... I think they have other flavours of fritters now too....

I would take Timmy's frozen, reheated donuts over Krispy Kreme anyday.... all they seemed to have were donuts with the cream inside and they were far too sweet... YUCK!!! :P

My first year of University I went to Laurentian, so when my parents would drive me to Sudbury I'd insist on a detour to Weber's. :P Not as much fun as stopping there on the way to a cottage, but it made the trek to school MUCH more fun.
