2) I don't believe I saw any firm answers on this yet, but my husband and I also applied online and we were impressed with how easy everything was! We submitted all of our documents separately and it worked perfectly fine. I would tend to agree with others on here because it will be easier for them to navigate, if nothing else.

2a) Yes, all of the documents can be scans on the computer, no mailing necessary!

Also on a side note, I totally appreciate that y'all sleep with Skype on, as my husband and I did that all the time when we were long distant.

Hi, I just wanted to ask when and/or  where  do you submit the bona-fide marriage documents during the online filing, I also wanted to ask if there's a kind of specific form for the pdf and finally if we need to fill out the I-130 and I-130A with the form and how do we sign?

When the petitioner makes their online account with USCIS there is an application option for the I-130. The I-130 application was an online application and I believe there was no where to actually sign, you just type your name in on the application. The application gives options at the end to upload all of your documents, including the I-130a and all of your supporting documentation.

You can log onto your USCIS account as many times as you need to until you complete the application. I don't remember if  you have to hit "save" each time, but one way or another, it does save your progress.

However, for the I-130a you have to fill it out manually on the pdf version and then upload scans of it to your I-130 application. We were unsure of how to fill out the "extra pages" as I have had many previous addresses, so we actually paid 100ish dollars to fill it out on a website called "citizenpath". We were really thankful for that, as we likely would've had an RFE if we had done it ourselves. I believe I signed my I-830a by hand and then scanned it.

I hope these answers help!

Thanks,  but I really need to know how you scanned your documents and where you add the proof

I scanned my documents using my printer scanner. If you don't have one I'd recommend getting one because you will use it A LOT during this process. Otherwise you can go to Staples or somewhere to scan them.

Have you made an account on USCIS yet? Once you do, it will become clear how to add proof. There are options on the I-130 application for all of those things.

Do we both have to make a USCIS account? or Can we share the same account?

You can share the same account but it will be in the name of the US citizen. Everything will be uploaded onto the I-130 application.

Okay, i recommend making an account and taking a look yourself. I honestly don't remember what it looked like, but I know we submitted everything online, so it's possible. You maybe just submit it all in the same place.. I really don't remember. I do remember it being pretty straightforward though. I promise once you make your account and start the I-130 it will make sense.

I'm sorry, I honestly don't remember. If there was, it tells you on the application I'm pretty sure.

I for the past couple of years I have been using an App on my iPhone called JotNot (well i actually upgraded to the Pro version) to scan documents (including multi page documents).   If you don't currently have a physical scanner getting an app is probably easier and cheaper then anything else.

I am pretty sure most items have a limit of 2 MB,  though a few items are 5 MB.
