Case approved June 23! One year later, and actually just one day after the window to apply for citizenship opened.
Originally filed at WAC, then transferred to NBC and previous fingerprints applied at 6 months, with approval at one year.

So no biometrics appointment or interview, as painless as anyone could hope for.

It's nice to see that others here are seeing movement on cases now as well. Wishing you all the best of luck.

That’s great news!  Congratulations!

Just completed our interview today!  We were asked 5 or 6 basic questions and the interviewer said all was good. He didn’t even want to see anything we brought other than ID. We didn't get written approval, he just gave us a white paper that read “your case is being held for further review”. Which honestly left us kinda puzzled since he originally said all was good. 2 hours later we got the “Card is being produced notification”.

We’re just glad it worked out. Onward to 🇺🇸 citizenship! Good luck and stay positive to all those still waiting. Your time will come.

How many YSC people have been hearing back? I am still stuck on "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken"

Me too also at YSC and stuck at the same thing "case updated to show fingerprints were taken". I filed for ROC on 6/3/20 it has been more than a year already... getting quite impatient. Have you already filed your N-400?

Anyone on here getting a biometrics notice AFTER an I-751 was already approved and a green card received? We received our green card 5 months but got a notice ( dated from 5 days ago) asking us to appear for a biometrics in 2 weeks from now. Just curious if anyone has seen this before? And what if we ignore it and don't go since we already have our green card.

Hi y'all,!!!

I am a August filer  and Im finally organizing allllll the papers .. Can someone please share a cover page? that definetely would help me a lot to put in order my docs to file 😃  them.

@WeNandC Here you go! Scroll down to the second post. Remember, the I-751 instructions state that USCIS requires evidence since the date of the marriage. There will be some overlap with evidence you sent for AOS. That is fine. Send it again. Cover the entire span of your marriage. :)

I-751 Joint Filing.

06-15-2021 - Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken.

05-26-2021 - Received NOA/extension letter. Notice date and postmarked 05-20-2021.

05-23-2021 - Received text message with Receipt #. YSC Potomac Center.

05-21-2021 - Checks cashed (processing on joint checking account)

05-07-2021 - I-751 received in Arizona.

Marriage-based AOS - Concurrent filing.

05-07-2019 - AOS Approved. Resident since date 05/07/2019.

05-06-2019 - AOS Interview

04-23-2018 - "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"

03-16-2018 - Priority Date.

Go to the USCIS website and you’ll find what you need and the order in which to put it in. Good luck!

Just thought I’d drop by in here since I haven’t been around for awhile

for the YSC office smh only god knows what’s happening there but my case was stuck on “finger prints received” for over a year and a half

i ended up enlisted in the Army and moved around for a bit now located in NC where I called got a info pass and upon getting home address changed and case was approved

I also filed a N400 based on military service but I’m saying for YSC call and check on your case. Praying for everyone still 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I just got an email half hour ago that my case was transferred to another office for processing. It's the only update I have received since filling in June 2020.

P.S. Maybe it was because I filed the N-400 for citizenship two and a half months ago.

Assumptions are not good but I’d like to think maybe that’s the reason. the officer at my info pass told me once there’s a pending I751 and you file N400 they have to find the cases and merge them so they can be linked to one interview etc. but that’s what I think.

We Just applied for the N400 this past week, see if it causes some sort of movement because we've been in limbo forever

I think that's what we should do. We filed for 1-751 in June 2020, received an 18 month extension in September, and then received a "Case was transferred and is under a new jurisdiction" response in October 2020. We've been stuck on this status for nearly a year next month. Never could find out until tonight where it had been transferred. We decided we should just file the N-400 instead because his 18 month extension will be up soon in the beginning of next year. I guess it's time to give up and file the N-400 and hope that gets processed. Does this seem like an unusually long processing time at a new office?!

Hey 👋🏽 this is absolutely not a long time

I’m seeing a lot of extensive wait time

but as the months goes by you should see a decrease in that wait time. Even with the change of office I saw that decrease drastically but hang in there it’s going to be okay
