Hi guys,

 

I am so glad I found you. I have applied beginning of June 2020, received RFE middle of January, they received back my response on February 11th. My case is in Vermont.

Any idea what will be the next step...? I hope it won't be filing N-400 beginning of June 2021 😁

He said they don't have access to whether it is in line to be scheduled. Very frustrating.

Have you tried to reach out to your representative? Mine was extremely helpful, I be got my bio appt 17 days later, the copy was in the mail 2 days after  the office sent me the mail from their inquiry. 
Meanwhile, both service requests remained unanswered.

Hi! If you don't mind, what's your local office. I am in NY/NJ area and haven't received anything regarding biometrics so wondering if there is any movement at all.

I’m in Atlanta... big hub as well, backlog very long...sigh..

Ugh! This process is so complicated. While there are some who just have to wait months to be approved with a new card (mostly the AOS filers), we have to wait longggg and far apart for CR1 approval and then now again wait for ROC. 😔

yes I paid for biometric fee and sent fingerprints and photos with my packet because I am overseas with military

Status changed to “Request for initial evidence was sent” ugh hopefully when I receive the notice it isn’t too bad 😭

I-751 will be generally more on the backburner, since we have 18 mo extension. However-I’d suggest to reach out to your senator/ house of Congress rep, to get your bio scheduled. Helped a lot in my case.

I know it's too early to start N-400 forum for June 2021 filers but I as we are almost 3 months away from June so I thought to start N-400 June 2021 page.

Update after 8.5 month of waiting, i got an email from the USCIS the card is in production as of March 5 and today March 6 the status changed to petition approved for ROC. 

 

To say i am elated would be to say the least. I could not believe my eyes because Nebraska center is averaging at 13 months for 50 percent and 28.5 months for 93% of i-751 cases, so to get this approved right at 8.5 months after filing is such a relief. 

 

Now can finally sigh a breath of relief before I file for N-400 online.

i'm about to send my evidences in a few weeks, just waiting for a couple more documents we want to add and hopefully it's a done deal

It looks like a letter anyone can type (it's not on that special paper etc.) and doesn't have any official marks (stamps, signature, bar code). Also, for affidavits mine says that I should add personal information of those providing the letters such as SSN number and copies of their documents. 

 

Also, the RFE comes from a different office than the one where my application was supposed to be.

Oh wow, that seems a bit weird. Mine has my application number, bar codes and everything. It doesnt ask for SSN of affidavits as well, very strange they'd ask that. My suggestion is to maybe reach out to USCIS about it. 

 

It comes from the office my case was transferred to. Did you get a notification prior to this that your case was transferred?
