Has there been any progress for June or maybe prior WAC applicants?

I'm a WAC applicant and haven't gotten my biometrics yet. Have you received yours? From what I saw her, usually people received the letter saying they'll use the AOS biometrics for this one about a week after getting their NOA but so far I haven't gotten anything. Not sure if it's the delay by mail or if it's something with WAC :(

ROC:

June 27, 2020 - Sent packet via USPS

July 3, 2020 - Case Received (California Service Center)

August 5, 2020 - NOA Received

January 6, 2021: Case Transferred to NBC Office

July 6, 2021: Previous biometrics reused

October 12, 2021: Interview Scheduled for November 8, 2021

November 8, 2021: Permanent Green Card Approved!

Timeline (From J-1 visa to Adjustment of Status):

Juy 3rd 2017 - Got Married!

July 8th 2017 - Mailed AOS packet

July 11th 2017 - PD

August 14th 2017 - Biometrics Appt (for I-485)

August 21th 2017 - Biometrics (for I-765)

August 24th 2017 - Updated online for Case Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

October 16th 2017 - Advance Parole Approved (after 100 days)

October 20th 2017 - Received Advance Parole in the mail

November 16th 2017 - 'New Card Is Being Produced' (after 108 days)

November 25th 2017 - Received EAD in the mail

August 16th, 2018 - Status Changed to "Interview Was Scheduled"

August 25th, 2018 - Interview Scheduled For September 25, 2018

September 25th, 2018 - Green Card Approved at Interview

October 3rd, 2018 - Received Green Card In The Mail

@izavox I haven’t received biometric appointment yet. It’s been almost 2 months since I got my 18 months extension letter.

I am in the same boat as you all. It has been about 1 month since I received the NOA and have not received an update regarding biometrics.

Does anyone know how to track the processing times for the MSC office? It's not an option to select when you click on the processing times on the USCIS website.

Since MSC is merely a holding- and distribution facility, it would then depend on your field office. I saw a thread on VJ (which I can’t find) that ranked all field offices re processing times. I’m in Atlanta, one of the busiest FO’s in the US. Due to Covid, they process much less cases, therefore the backlog is pretty long for scheduling anything, I’d assume. That’s my understanding from all info I could gather.

i have to go to Germany on Saturday due to a medical emergency of my mother-I sure hope that I don’t get any letter during my 3.5 weeks of absence.

timeline (ROC):

06/29/2020 - package sent with USPS to Dallas lockbox

07/01/2020 - package delivered and signed for

07/08/2020 - CC charged

07/10/2020 - text message received

I wonder when we should call them or open a SR about it. My NOA was the SR one that I had opened, but, in the case of biometrics, I'm not sure it falls into the same category.

I have filed a SR under "Did not receive notice by mail" and it says to expect reply by Sep 20, 2020. Let's see what they have to say, I am hoping to get something by September...hopefully 🙏

Hello guys,

Do we need to apply for another EAD to continue working while waiting for our I-751 approval? Thanks

@Luke+Lea if you haven't received your I-797C ie; NOA I would suggest to contact USCIS and get the status. If you have received I-797C or NOA it serves as a proof that you filed your I-751 and can continue your residency and work without filing any other forms. Even if your I-797C expires (18 months after the date of your green card expiration date)  you can make an appointment at your local field office and get a stamp...btw you will be eligible to file N-400 even before your I-797C expires 🙏

I hope this helps!!

No. Your extension letter serves that purpose.

Hi All,

Just sharing my info:

June 1st - sent in I-751 package

June 5th - Received by Phoenix lockbox

June 10th - received text message & cheque cashed - Case number starting MSC (national benefits center)

June 16th - Received update that fingerprints have been reviewed and they are moving onto the next step.

Hoping the process goes quickly and smoothly for us all!

Hello,

I am happy for you that something is moving in your waiting time.

Below is my timeline

6/17/2020 mailed out I-751

6/19/2020 USCIS received and provided case number

6/28/2020 USCIS withdrawal $680

6/30/2020 USCIS sent out I-797 to let us know they received our appication and extended 18 months of conditional resident status

Until then, we never heard anything back.

I was doing the website research, most of the people are saying the biometrics appointment is about 4 weeks after they sent out I-797. I think the 9 weeks that we have been waiting is just around the corner. Do anyone know more about the timeline? or any idea how longer to wait for the biometrics?

In addition, I have seen not only you, but a lot of people have received the fingerprints schedule in about a week after they received the text message and cashed out the fee.In my case, I have been waiting for almost 9 weeks, is that mean something else?

PS: My case is also starting with MSC from Seattle

Im in the same boat as you.. still have not received biometrics appointment or a notification that they used the biometrics from 2 years ago. Our case also starts with MSC... I wonder if everyone with MSC is dealing with the same thing? We received our receipt in early July I want to say. As of then, still nothing.
