Any June LIN filer received their NOA yet ?

my application was received June 8 and nothing till now, not even biometrics notice that old fingerprints is being reused.

It looks like we have the same timeline, my application was also received on June 8. I called USCIS on Tuesday and got informed NOA had been sent on Monday. I assume I'll receive it the beginning of next week.

Have you called them?

still waiting for my text message or something.

in general, how long am I supposed to wait before I should inquire about wether or not my application was forwarded to a center or rejected and sent back due to some error on a form? And where do I ask? Lockbox support or do I call the USCIS number?

waiting makes me crazy! Gah!

timeline (ROC):

06/29/2020 - package sent with USPS to Dallas lockbox

07/01/2020 - package delivered and signed for

07/08/2020 - CC charged

Update: it’s my NOA extension letter. Just pulled it out of the mailbox : )

Date of Received Filing: Jun 5th

NOA Dated: July 1st

Weird thing is I called on July 6th to request a service inquiry. They told me they had originally sent one out on June 10th but would send me a new one within the next 15 days since I didn’t receive it. Well with this one being dated July 1st, I’d take the information they give over the phone with a grain of salt. Also I guess I’ll receive another copy at some point. Who knows? At least now I can rest easy for the next year or so. And also get my license renewed. lol Good luck all.

omg that is so awesome! I'm glad you got it. We called too and they told us that they mail it June 4th on the phone... who knows. The case was accepted on June 4th so I hope that ours comes in soon as well.

Good luck to all.

Hey all! Filed June 12 and got biometrics notice this past Saturday. What I don’t understand is that my lawyer got the courtesy copy of the receipt this Monday and it was dated for July 1st. I still haven’t gotten the receipt and can’t wrap my head around my lawyer getting the copy but me not getting the official receipt. We are traveling end of the month so really hopeful this sorts itself out. I hate this process.

Honestly, I'm not so sure he needs to sign as the interpreter for that. He needs to sign the Spouse section, but if he was just helping you fill out the form, then it's just a normal process of filling out stuff together. Did he sign as your interpreter when you filled for Adjustment of Status (I-485)?

I'm no lawyer haha but it just seems he was simply helping you out, which is fine because you 2 are supposed to sign that form, so he does need to be aware of the questions and all that. :)

But, perhaps you can check with an immigration lawyer if you are still unsure. :)

Remember you are filing i-751 jointly.  If you can use Google translate to translate the words you don't know and make sense out of the question then you don't need an interpreter.    I don't speak my wife's native language but she understands basic English like you so i go through the questions on the form with her and explain to her items she don't quite understand.

And if you do file for n-400 since it requires basic English competency so she shouldn't be using or needing an interpreter at the interview.

Hello everyone,

A little update about my case:

6/12 sent out package to TX

6/15 USPS notified the package has delivered. I obtained Proof of delivery.

6/22 received text message from USCIS. 'Your case has been received. Receipt# MSCXXXXXXXXX. Official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) to follow in mail.

I do have some questions if anyone could share insight:

  1. I checked my bank account, my check hasn't been cash yet. Shouldn't it be cashed before having this receiving notice?
  2. How do you check your local office if the case goes to MSC? (I am in VA and I sent my package to TX PObox)
  3. I did a little research about MSC. I am still confused about how MSC(NBC) worked. On an USCIS archived article, it seemed like every case in MSC needs to go through an interview and background check. Is this different from other service centers? is the timeline faster or slower than other SCs? Are the process the same? Getting 18 months extension applied to all the filers?

Good luck everyone, keep strong and stay safe.
